Sonny began his experience with yearbooks as a member of his own high school yearbook staff. He devoted many hours to cropping, editing, and perfecting layouts. After high school, he went on to Auburn University where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in physical education. Sonny taught school in Birmingham and later accepted a job as a branch manager for a national building material supplier. There, he excelled at providing a quality product and was committed to customer satisfaction.
Sonny joined the Herff Jones team in central Alabama, because he knows that he can use his personal experience on his own high school yearbook staff, his passion for education and technology, and his commitment to quality service and products to guide yearbook advisers in creating excellent yearbooks year after year.

Bree McConnell, CJE

Bree McConnell has been training to be a yearbook sales representative for Herff Jones since high school. Her love for yearbooks extended to college where she served as the editor-in-chief for three years at Jacksonville State University.
After graduating from college, Bree worked in human resources for a non-profit organization before moving on to a lead purchasing position for a government contractor. While she enjoyed working in business, her true passion remained with yearbooks. Bree spends her free time serving on local community projects.
The combination of her business and budget experience — in addition to her creativity — makes Bree an obvious choice to help make your yearbook experience enjoyable.
